Main advantages and flow requirements of Axial Fan

Jul 01, 2019

When the axial fan rotates, the gas enters the impeller from the inlet axial direction, which is pushed by the blade on the impeller to increase the energy of the gas, and then flows into the guide vane. The guide vane changes the deflecting air flow into the axial flow, at the same time, the gas is introduced into the pressure tube, and the kinetic energy of the gas is further converted into the pressure energy, and the working pipeline is introduced into the guide vane.

The working mode of axial fan blade is similar to that of aircraft wing. However, the latter acts upward on the wing and supports the weight of the aircraft, while the axial flow fan holds the position and moves the air. The cross section of axial flow fan is generally wing section. The blade can be fixed in position or rotated around its longitudinal axis. The angle between the blade and the air flow or the distance between the blade and the blade can not be adjusted or adjustable. Changing blade angle or spacing is one of the main advantages of axial flow fan. The angle of small blade spacing produces lower flow rate, while the increase of spacing can produce higher flow rate.

The axial flow fan can change the blade spacing (which is quite similar to the helicopter rotor) during the operation of the fan, thus changing the flow rate accordingly. This is called moving blade adjustable axial flow fan.www.jnblower.com
