Treatment of insufficient Wind pressure and Air Volume of Roots Blower

According to the analysis of the structure and working process, the repair position was determined, and the method of iron powder spraying was used to repair it, and the effect was good. Due to the high dust content in the medium entering the fan and the wear under the action of the speed, the gap value between the two rotators has reached the maximum value of 3.5mm (the design value is 0.45mm), which reduces the air pressure and air volume at the outlet. And the leakage gas in the internal circulation causes the fan temperature to rise and stop production.

The main components of the Roots blower are two waist-shaped rotors, replacing the new ones, equal to 80 percent of the cost of the equipment. The surface of the two rotors can be repaired to reach the designed size and ensure the gap between the two rotors. Only a small amount of repair cost can be spent to make the equipment come back to life. The Roots blower has a simple structure. The main components are two cycloidal or involute rotors. Because the design and manufacture of involute rotor is easy and the flow is large, most Roots blower adopts involute rotor. When the clearance of Roots fan increases, it can not be solved by adjustment, which is determined by its structure.

The material used is oxygen and acetylene, the first time using nickel-coated aluminum to hit the underlayer, because nickel-coated aluminum has exothermic reaction characteristics, making it form a micro-metallurgical bonding coating with the matrix. The spraying thickness is controlled at 0.08 μ 0.11 mm. Because of the complex shape of rotor, the uniformity of spray coating is not easy to grasp. A hand-held grinder is used to polish the parts to be sprayed, and then a sharp tool is used to strike out the hemp pit. The gap between the two rotators is measured accurately and the spraying thickness of each rotor is determined.

The nickel-coated aluminum is sprayed onto the face with a spray gun, and then evenly sprayed with iron powder, the required thickness can be achieved by spraying about four times. The protruding part is ground off by a grinder, and the concave part is resprayed until the meshing gap between the two rotors is 0.45mm and the radial clearance between the rotor and the casing is 0.5mm. The gap between the rotor and the side plate is adjusted to 0.45 mm by decreasing (or increasing), and the spraying thickness is more than 2.5mm. After spraying with metal objects hit the spraying surface, judging from the sound of whether or not to be an integral whole.www.jnblower.com
