External cleaning
For the fan casing and protective net, in general environments, it is recommended to perform a simple cleaning once a month, using a soft brush or dry cloth to wipe the dust. In dusty environments (such as construction sites, flour mills, etc.), cleaning should be performed every two weeks or even every week to prevent dust accumulation from affecting fan performance.
Blade cleaning
Blade cleaning is particularly important. In a normal environment, a more thorough cleaning is performed once a quarter. First, turn off the power, then wipe the dust with a soft brush or wet cloth. If there is oil stain, use a mild detergent to treat it. In dusty and oily environments (such as machining workshops), it is recommended to clean the blades every two months or so.

Check the blades
Check the blades once a month for deformation, looseness or damage. In the case of a harsh operating environment for the fan (such as objects that may collide with the fan, strong winds, etc.), the inspection frequency should be increased to once every half a month.
Bearing maintenance
Inspect and add lubricating oil every 3-6 months depending on the frequency of use and operating environment of the fan. If the fan runs continuously for a long time (such as in some large factories that require 24-hour ventilation), it is recommended to perform bearing maintenance every 3 months; if it is intermittent and the operating environment is good, it can be maintained every 6 months.
Motor maintenance
Check the appearance of the motor every six months for damage, burn marks, and whether the wiring is firm. For the case where the motor runs at a high temperature (such as running in a high temperature environment or the motor load is large), the motor operation status should be checked once a quarter, and the resistance, voltage and other parameters of the motor should be checked using tools such as a multimeter.
Safety inspection
Protective net inspection
Check the protective net every two months for damage, deformation or looseness. If there may be objects hitting the protective net in the fan operating environment (such as in places where large equipment is moved), it should be checked monthly.
Fixing inspection
Check the fixing device (bolts, brackets, etc.) of the fan on the roof every quarter for firmness. In an environment prone to vibration (such as a place near large stamping equipment), it should be checked every two months.
